Maternal Infant Health (MIH)& Maternal Child Health (MCH)
The Maternal Infant Health (MIH) and Maternal Child Health (MCH) Outcomes programs provide comprehensive education, training, and support for individuals during prenatal, postpartum, preconception, and interconception stages. Through health education workshops, fitness classes (e.g., Caribbean Fitness Dance, Chair Yoga, Tai Chi), and self-care sessions (e.g., Sound Therapy), the programs promote positive maternal and child health outcomes. Trained staff offer prenatal and postpartum support, including birth plan development, diabetes/pre-diabetes workshops, doula services, infant care, and breastfeeding education, ensuring holistic care for individuals of childbearing age.
